Hello, I’ve watched your video over and over. I only have one question. When you fuse the 13″ x 10″ to the fusible Pellon 808, 13 1/2 to 13″ (centered) sewing on the long edge, but when you hold it up it looks like the 10″ is at the top, what I’m I missing. Other-than that I really enjoyed
    the video.

Great video! Glad you are back. Where do you purchase the rings?

    1. Anita Morris

Thank you! My rings were purchased from a jewelry making store in Downtown, Los Angeles, but they don’t have a website. Try Amazon.

Hi Anita, I am really inspired by this video tutorial. I especially loved the animal prints. I am going to make more than one to give as gifts.

  7. Yvette

Anita, these are simply gorgeous and you do such a good job at instructing.
About how much fabric would you say you need to purchase to make each clutch? Do you have a link to the animal print fabric you used? I hope so!!

Keep letting God shine through you! You are such a classy lady!!

    God bless!

    1. Anita Morris

Hi Yvette! Purchase 1/2 yard. I don’t have a link to the animal print. It was leftover from another project. I purchased it about 3 or 4 years ago at JoAnn’s.

      Thank you so much!

      1. Yvette

This is an excellent video tutorial. It is quite inspirational. The possibilities are endless. You could add an inner pocket to the lining. I want to make a bag to match each of my outfits. And what an excellent ideas as gifts for someone special. I am writing from the UK; from Wales in fact.

    1. Anita Morris

Hi Sarah! Yes, the possibilities are endless. I totally forgot to mention the tip about adding a pocket to the inside. Yes, some of my clutches have a small pocket inside. Your family and friends would love receiving these as gifts. Thanks for stopping by!

  11. Lady

    Hi, Anita
A Nice and useful video, pretty easy to understand and your language and how you verbalize and express every idea was very clear (easy to understand for a person like me that English is not my first language). I’m going to try to make one o two of those clutches.

Keep the good work and God Bless you.

    1. Anita Morris

Hi Lady! I’m so glad you were able to follow along and understand the tutorial. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy sewing your clutch purse.

  12. Deborah Hill

Thanks for sharing Anita.. I can’t wait to make it and will share the results (though it maybe awhile with all of my sewing projects).

    1. Anita Morris

You’re welcome Deborah! Enjoy all your sewing sew sister!

  13. Nancy

Which frame should i purchase? Is there a certain measurement or style you are working with? Thank you for all you do for the sewing community. Jehovah God Bless you and all you love

    1. Anita Morris

Hi Nancy! I just changed the link in this post to the exact frame I used. Thanks for asking. You’re very welcome and God bless you too!

  14. Krista Daily

Hi Anita, a couple questions for you. I have a singer machine, do I need special needles for the thicker fabric? Also, when you added the frame,I noticed you just pushed the sides in is there any way to secure the sides so they don’t pop out? Thank you

    1. Patricia

Krista, I have the same question. Anita, is there a way to secure the sides?

    2. Anita Morris

      Hi Krista! Great questions!
      (1) I used a size 90/14 needle.
      (2) I just changed link in this post to exact frame that I used.
      (3) I don’t know of a way to secure frame. I’ve had no issues while carrying my clutches with fabric popping outside frame.

      1. Krista Daily

Thank you. Im buying my supplies today :+)

  15. Patricia

Beautiful clutch purses Anita! I watched your YouTube instructions….easy to understand your verbal instructions, and very clear ‘how to’ illustrations. I could actually see what you were doing without any obstructions. Your body positions were spot on. Your video person (husband) is very good at recording! It is a blessing to be able to make our own clothing, accessories etc. I met a woman some time ago who covered some of her shoes (pumps) with beautiful fabrics from her fabric stash. Keep up the good work! I love your blog!
