Hi Anita – I just finished making this dress and I just wanted to thank you for making such an easy to understand and follow tutorial. I am just learning to garment sew and I love it. It was quite sad when I finished because I was enjoying learning so much!

The dress turned out perfect and even my 29-year-old daughter loved it. I learned so much and am proud of the results. Thank you for all the hard work you put into teaching people how to sew.

What a great beginner’s tutorial! You covered so many techniques and showed us how to make things look neat and professional. Thank you. I look forward to following your blog.

Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for your feedback. I’m so glad you like the videos and I hope you will have fun following. Have a Happy 4th of July!

Anita, you are a Blessing to ‘sew’ many of us! It is definitely a Blessing from God to have a talent to sew. I am thankful of that everyday. I love to sew. Your denim dress is very nice. The total look with the jewelry, shoes, and your haircut is spot on. By the way, I love your haircut! My husband is my audience whenever I complete an outfit. This dress is next on my to do list. I can’t wait to model it for him. The perfect dress for the hot temperatures here in Houston. Thank you again for sharing!

Hi Patricia! Thanks you so much for your positive feedback. I’m just smiling so big hearing how you model your finished projects for your husband. I absolutely love it when husbands support us in our passion. Have fun making your dress! I absolutely love mine. I’m actually wearing it right now. It has become one of my favorite dresses to wear around the house right now because it’s so light, loose, and incredibly comfortable. Since making it, I have worn it several times already. It is the BEST sewing dress too. Easy to get in and out of for fittings. Hehehehe! Have a great day, my sew sister!

You are an answer to my prayers. Literally. I love sewing- I love to make things not only for myself but for others as well but I’ve struggled to make the garments look as nice as they are supposed to look. So I prayed about it. And just a matter of a couple days later, I landed on your blog!! I’ve learned so much from the two episodes that I’ve watched and I sincerely hope you continue them. Thank you for sharing your talent and passion!!

Ooooh Diane! This is music to my ears! You have no idea how encouraging your comment is to me. Because I have been, and continue to be inspired by others in the sewing community, it blesses my heart more than words can express to know that I can do the same for others. My heart skipped a beat when I read that you prayed first! Ooooooh YEEEESSSS! God knows the desires of our hearts. Now, when you have learned and increased your knowledge, make sure you share with others too, in whatever capacity God allows that to happen. We are blessed to be a blessing. Enjoy your sewing, sister!

It’s Friday and New Lesson Day.. what could make Fridays better? I have this pattern already and I am very excited to get to sewing. I have been collecting patterns for about a year when they go on sale, with the hope of one day being able to sew them. I loved this pattern when I first saw it, but the pattern cover did not do it justice. You put the ‘umph’ in this dress. Thank you again for sharing your talents.

Hi Anita and happy Friday. I get so excited when Wednesday and Friday come around because I look forward to your latest post. As always, you slay in everything you make and I love the way you put it all together (accessories, shoes and all).

I am just finishing up my circle skirt from project one. I also just prepared my material to begin project 2. I will email you when I have completed my circle skirt.

Thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us. Be blessed.

So nice to see feminine sewing tutorials that are classy and professional. Not every female sewer wants to sew body hugging knits. So grateful for your time and look forward for more videos. I encourage all to go to her youtube channel and subscribe. Let’s be supportive.
