As most of you are well into the new year, here I am just sharing about what I sewed in 2019. Hahaha!!! Hey, better late than never, right?
I’ve seen people post monthly sewing reviews, but that wasn’t something I was ever interested in until now. However, instead of monthly reviews, I’m doing it a little different. I decided to create a 2019 sewing review video for my YouTube channel.
At first, I thought it might be boring for those who visit my blog on a regular basis, because you’ve seen it all before. So my plan was to post it to my YouTube channel only because they only get to see the garments for which I create sew-along videos
As I was creating the video, I realized how interesting it was to see everything at a glance. I was really surprised at just how much I accomplished in the sewing room last year.
As I was looking through the photos, arranging them for the video and remembering where I wore the garments, I thought it would nice to share the highlights of my year also.
That’s when I realized something. This project is for me as much as it is for those of you who take interest in what I share in my sewing space. It’s something I can look back on and see what I’ve done, how I’ve grown, and reminisce in the abundance of God’s grace on my life over the last year.
I’ve mentioned here before that sewing has become therapy for me over the last two years. When I look back at 2019, I see progress in the healing. The journey continues.
If you’d like to see my 2019 in review, I’ve provided the link to the video below.
Also, my 4-Year Blog Anniversary is on January 16th. I’m so excited and look forward to sharing some highlights of my January makes over the last four years.
AND……. Something very special is happening on that day. But only those who are members of my Private Email Community know about it. Hehehe!!!

Hi Anita…..Although I am not new to sewing, as I’ve been sewing since I was in eight grade first item being an apron and the majority of the ladies in my family sew so I guess you can say it’s in the bloodline….lol, I enjoy sewing. I use to go home from a full time job, cut out a dress, sew it and wear it the next day but I sort of fell in the “sew when I’m in the mood” phase until a few months ago. I found your website while looking for patterns and it was refreshing to see your creations, ideas and pointers on sewing. Now that we all are in the “stay at home” crisis what better way to spend time than sewing. I’m going to keep following your leads and create some beautiful outfits. I’m definitely going to try the circle skirt.
