As I work my way back into my sewing space, I’m pulling out all the pieces I made before stepping away from everything. This cute pullover top is one that I was very excited to share.

I was drawn to the rouching at center front and View A was calling my name. I had some ribbed knit in my fabric collection so I went to work and finished in no time.

Today, on my YouTube channel, I’m sharing a pattern review with all the details to help you determine if this pattern is one you’d like to try. Enjoy the video.

I’m so happy I have found your blog! I thoroughly enjoy your reviews and positive outlook on life in spite of what it throws at us.

I bought this pattern and went to review your youtube video McCalls 7812 top (the sew along video is there) but the pattern review video says it is unavailable. Will you be re-posting or am I a bit late to the game?

Either way, I thoroughly enjoy this!
    Thank you!

  2. Please keep sharing your story. It will not only help heal you but heal us as well. I know from personal experience that sharing your story allows others to return empathy and compassion. On another note would it be possible during your pattern review to share yardage of a pattern (the amount for each size) so we can order it online. With COVID a lot of us are shut down and cant get the desired fabric unless we order online. This would help in determining how much to order. Thank you for all your ideas and teaching skills. You are the best!

Hi Maureen. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Thank you for your suggestion. I think it’s a GREAT idea and I most certainly will do that with the next one. I appreciate you for looking out for those who are ordering online. You have a beautiful day and stay safe.
