Update on CEMO

Some of you have been reaching out to see how my husband is doing. Thank you so much for checking in on us. We’re taking it one day at a time. His short term memory is getting worse and he’s not himself mentally. It’s difficult to watch but God is in control and I continue to STAND in my faith.

Sewing with Baby Lock SOPRANO - Episode #1

I’m so grateful to have sewing. It is truly my therapy right now. Even though I don’t get to sew everyday, for now, just thinking about it, planning for it and watching what others in the sewing community are doing gives me something else to focus on, something to look forward to. I had to learn how to record my own videos for the series, and while I have some areas to improve on, I think I did a great job on my first video.

Thanks for stopping by!

Remember: When you live in your DESIGN, it is from there that God SHINES!

Hi Anita, I just recently found your site, and I am so happy to be able to watch your great videos. I have been wanting to get back into sewing, and I was thrilled to see your awesome videos. God has truly blessed you with a beautiful gift of teaching! I am thankful for all the great info that you share with us concerning sewing. I was so thrilled to also see that you are a very dear sister-in-Christ! For, I am an ordained minister and it is so exciting how the Lord brings His people together! You are a great inspiration, and I am looking forward to learning from all of your knowledge and experience!

Anita you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. No matter what happens, as a believer, when God is there we can brave any storm. He alone knows His plan and I believe that to my core. When I was sick I imagined I was holding His hand and somehow that gave me a strength beyond words. Stay faithful my sister.

Much love to you and your family.

Your hubby is so very handsome. He is blessed to have you by his side in this difficult time. Sometimes our lives take different turns, than we first envision, but God is good and sustains us, blesses us with joy in spite of sorrow, and has promised to be there to lean upon. Praying for you and your family. You are loved.

Anita…. I love you!!!! You have been my guide and inspiration in my new sewing journey. I found you a year ago after praying to God for assistance in learning to sew. Prayer answered. I have learned so much from you. Thank you. You are a beautiful lady, and soul inside and out. Not only have I learned sewing skills from you, but have gained a deeper faith from you as well. Not one day goes by that praying for you and your family occurs in our household. In the name of Jesus Christ are Lord and the Holy Spirit we do not accept this disease in CEMO thy good and faithful servant as it is not God’s will for sickness, poverty, and disease. Anything in his will will be done. Amen. I love you Anita and God Bless.

    Hi Anita,

Sooooooo glad to hear from you and to know you’re recording your videos while CEMO is being healed. God is definitely in control. I’m praying for your strength, peace, and that your faith in the Great Physician never fails. Also praying for you Gwendolyn, and Nita because sometimes we forget about the caregiver who need much prayer to be able to not just care for the person who’s sick but tend to other family members, household responsibilities, jobs, just other callings of life. I give You thanks Father, in the name of Jesus, for saturating Anita, Nita, and Gwendolyn and others with Your strength, Your peace, and Your divine wisdom and direction because we can’t do anything on our own but we can do all things thru You Christ Jesus who strengthen us. Thank you for healing their family, and I’m so thankful that You’re already being glorified Lord. Amen.

    1. Anita Morris

Amen! Amen! Thank you so much!

Hi Anita. You are so inspiring. We Love You. Even though we have never met I understand the Journey that you are in. My Mom was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma I care for her and went back to my Sewing as it gives me Peace also. She is 13 yrs Cancer free but has other needs that I care for everyday. She is not able to do the Basics at this time so we just give God Praise for her being here.

    1. Anita Morris

Oh Nita! My heart and prayers are with you too. I’m so glad to hear that you have your mom with you. Bless your heart for the sacrifice of being her caregiver. Praise God that she’s a 13-year survivor. YES, that’s something to celebrate. I do understand other needs because my husband has several other issues as a result of the tumor. However, I choose to trust God with it ALL. Like you, I praise Him through it all. Blessings to you and your mom, Nita!

  19. Sandra

Hi Anita, So good to see your beautiful smile. You are a strong woman of faith. God joined you to CEMO because He knew you would be faithful. Keep believing and trusting in God. You are in my prayers. God Bless!

  20. Gwendolyn Styles

Hi Anita, your not alone on this journey with your husband. my husband is going through the stages of his short term memory and not being his self mentally. But God is with us, I will keep you all in my prayers too!

    1. Anita Morris

Oh Gwendolyn, I pray for you and your husband too. Ooooh sister, God is with us and he’s strengthening us. This journey that God has allowed us on with our husbands is so much bigger than what we see. There’s always purpose in the trial. Hold on to hope, my sister! Keep your praise at the forefront, no matter what the situation looks like. Pay attention to what’s going on around you. There are hidden treasures and blessings in the smallest details that will be missed if we focus on the problems. Jesus is our help and we will get through this. Be encouraged and blessed.

  21. Diane Roney

Well I’m headed right over to see the series. I just bought a Soprano in June to take to classes so o don’t have to lug my Destiny. Looking forward to your classes. Also sending healing light and love to your husband for healing.

    1. Anita Morris

      Awesome Diane! Perfect timing.

  22. Florence

Thank you for this video, Ms.Anita. So glad to see your smiling face.I am currently looking to upgrade from my singer which has served me well over the past 10 years, and I am torn between the Presto and the Soprano. I have been using both and my local dealer and I figure I can’t go wrong with either one.

Continue to stand in faith. Continue to stand on the Word. Being a caretaker can be taxing but You have God and the support and prayers of family and friends. We are praying that God will continue to strengthen you and maintain your joy.

    1. Anita Morris

Thank you so much, Florence! Best wishes to you in choosing your Baby Lock machine.

  23. Angie Jackson

Still praying for your husband and yourself. If it be Gods will he is able to heal. So glad you have found some peace in the midst of this storm. Also if I hadn’t already just bought my new Viking I might had considered that awesome sewing machine. Thanks for the article and video.
