I love your video. I have a question. Does everyone fight with their serger to get it to sew? I just spent 3 hours threading and rethreading, test sewing and retesting before I start my project. (Two little T-shirts for a baby). I never got the tension right to sew. I am about to go back to my regular machine and sew them. I dreamed of owning a serger fort 40 years. Now I regret it.
I can’t wait to try it for myself! Thank you

I really enjoyed your video and I love the new features on the Babylock Vibrant.
Hi Ms Anita! I enjoyed the video. I tried to enter for the serger but was unable to do so. Hope I still have a chance to win this awesome machine! I would love to own this little beauty.
Thanks again for all of your instructional videos. I do not have a serger yet but I have learned from your videos how useful of a machine it is.
Sorry…I just started watching the video again and see you left a link for the fabric so you can disregard my question. 🙂
I tried to leave a comment on the vibrant series, but was unable to do so. Love your channel. I am truly inspired by watching you. Thank you for your tutorials!
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! Getting ready to brave my first t-shirt.
I’m curious about the green knit that you used for your t-shirt example. The knits I’ve sewn with are generally super soft and stretchy. The one you’re using seems to almost have a …for lack of better description…rubbery sound to it. I would like to find something more like what you used. Can you tell me what it is? Joann’s is having a 50% off sale off knits and I want to go shopping 🙂
The link to the fabric I used is in the description box below the video on YouTube. It’s 95% cotton and 5% lycra.
I have been researching sergers and I am so glad I found your blog! I have two babylock sewing machines and the vibrant would definitely help me grow in my sewing.
Wonderful tutorial!
Hi!
I tried to enter the Vibrant giveaway and doesn’t look like I was successful. Any suggestions? Thanks.
That Vibrant is adorable and so easy to use! Thanks for showing us what you can do with it! Great giveaway.
Good Day Ms. Anita
The Baby Lock Vibrant Serger series is an excellent presentation . You thoroughly explained every part of the machines in and outs from the parts and their functions to threading , and how to operate the machine. I currently own the Singer Pro Finish Serger but I will be saving up so I ac purchase the Vibrant in the near future. Thanks for the great video Ms. Anita
Thank you so much for your thorough review of the Baby Lock Vibrant. I was so curious about this machine, and you seriously covered everything I needed to know.
I love sewing ? with a serger especially in the net fabrics they come out fabulously 🙂
This was a great video tutorial; thank you! A serger can seem intimidating but you make it easy.
Mrs. Anita,
I love following your blog and YouTube channel. Your t-shirt is so cute and I can’t wait to try to make one for myself!
Great series! Very informative!
Hello Anita,
The serger looked very nice and I was pleased with the changing of the feet when you began to hem the bottom of the t-shirt. For me even though you did not use it, I was thinking about the ruffle foot. It looked like it could see some beautiful ruffles. Well thank you for sharing the process in making a t-shirt, it was a 1st for me. Take care. ?
Love this channel. Im really excited to sew again. These videos has help me understand sewing more.
Who doesn’t like a well made, good fitting tee! 90% of the time (when I’m not working) I’m in a T-shirt so this video was for me. Your tee fit so well I can wait to make one. The Vibrant looks like an awesome machine.
I really enjoyed watching you make a t-shirt on the serger. I only just found out about you and look forward to watching more of your videos.
This is a great tutorial! I don’t have a serger, but this certainly makes me want one.
You made this look so easy! I have that pattern and I think it’s time to pull it out and try it. I’m also going to my Baby Lock dealer tomorrow to get a close up look at that serger!
Oh Anita ! You did and awesome job , explaining everything, in each segment of this series ! ❤️I don’t have a serger , but you made it seem so easy , to use this serger! You Even went above and beyond , to show us tricks , to help our sewing on a this serger , to succeed ? Bravo , Teacher Anita , did a fabulous job ?
This has really been a great series!! I can’t wait to put all of the tips into practice. I’m also very eager to try this T-shirt pattern. My family will be sick of T-shirts. LOL
Excited for the weekend so I can get caught up on the serger series! I hate to admit that my serger has been sitting gathering dust after I “mastered” threading it. ? Looking forward watching, rewatching and then sewing along. Thanks for the content!
Love your channel, I have always been intimidated by sewing clothing because I am plus size but you give me confidence to try. Thanks.
I definitely need a new serger. Thanks for doing the YT series on the Vibrant. I really love all the feet that comes with it.
I now believe I have a dinosaur serger, lol! BTW, love the t-shirt you created from the panel you were given. Can those panels be bought?
Thank you. The link for the t-shirt fabric is in the description box under the video on YouTube.
What a great series. Learning a lot
Awesome Debra!
Wow! You are the first I have seen to give such a detailed training on the serger. So many people shy away from it and barely even talking about the serger. It’s almost as if the serger is taboo yet everyone talks about how much they love the serger.
Learned lots and ever so thankful of your teaching gift!
Thanks Anita!
Deirdre, thank you so much for your feedback. I’m really happy to know that you found the video to be valuable.
I’m in love and you’ve convinced me a serger is required in my sewing life. Best part is that I learned how to hem with a server. Thank you.

Thanks Sally! I apologize for that. I appreciate you coming here to comment.

Thank you Jaclyn!
Thanks for the great demo of the hemming with the serger. I’ve had a hemming foot for my serger for years and never took the time to learn how to use it. I’ll be trying it next t-shirt!
Awesome Maureen! Have fun learning to use your hemming foot.
I think that the sergermachine is great you really did a good job on the T-shirt by the way you are a good teacher thank you

Hey Cynthia! Yes, getting my groove back. Love you too!

I’m learning to use a new-to-me serger after my 20 yr old one died, and in twenty years I never knew you could hem with a serger! *mind blown*. Did some digging and my new serger came with all the right feet to do the job, so now I have four t-shirts waiting to be put together! Thank you so much for the video! I can’t wait to see what else I’m missing!
Yeeesss, Tia! Have fun learning to use all your new feet. Let the experimenting begin.
Fabulous tutorial! I didn’t realize that hemming on the serger was so simple!
Neither did I until I tried it with this machine. I love it.
I LOVE your Sew Long & Sew Happy tee!! I hope to eventually upgrade to a serger with the capability to 2 thread overlock so I can blind hem on it!!
Thank you Rachel! I love the t-shirt too. Yes, the hemming capability is just awesome.
Thank you for all the tips. You make things seem easy and are very encouraging. I really enjoy your videos and blog. Thanks!
Thank you so much, Shirette! It makes me feel really good to hear that.
I love the color of the tshirt, it looks great on you! Thanks for the Vibrant tutorial!
Oh, Cindy, I love the color so much too! You’re very well.
Having the vibrant serger would greatly improve my comfort level and quality of seeing with knits. Fingers crissed
Yes, the serger really does help.
I love my babylock sewing machine, and would be thrilled to have a serger as well.
