Hello everyone! Oh My Goodness! You guys are really providing me with good reading this week. I’m having so much fun getting to know you. Keep it coming! Also, a huge thank you to my fellow blogger friends who are responding to Tuesday’s post.
On day 4 of my 1-Year Blog Anniversary Week, I’m sharing with you my Top 5 Favorite Posts. Starting with my oldest to my most recent favorite, come take a walk with me down memory lane. It was so much fun to look back and see the growth that has taken place during the year. I’m feeling kind of proud.
Top 5 Favorite Posts
On my first day of blogging I entered four posts, and this was my favorite one. I think I like it so much because it was my very first. I don’t have the dress anymore because I gave it away, but I will be making another Little Black Dress so that I can wear this look again. Click HERE to see more.
This next look was created to wear to a Valentine’s Marriage Retreat Gala last year. This was our first nighttime photo shoot. Click HERE to see more.
When I finished this next dress, I ran across the photo on the left. Imagine my surprise! To see more click HERE.
The blue swing dress was created in honor of my dear friend, CeCe, who died from pancreatic cancer last year. This one has a very special place in my heart. See more HERE.
You’re probably familiar with this most recent make. I wore it to my friend’s daughter’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. It became my new favorite dress. For more photos and details click HERE.
Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, reminds me of Breakfast at Tiffany’s too. Thank you.
Good afternoon, like many of your students/followers, I too stumbled across your YouTube channel looking for instruction and a place to start. Your pleasant smile is why I chose your video and after watching your first installment, I knew that I wanted to become a part of your “stitching crew” (??? the rhyming was an unintentional bonus). You have created such an awesome platform for people who want to learn the craft but, either can’t afford the financial investment for classes or, just don’t have the time to go; thank you SO MUCH for that!
I am VERY crafty and creative. I’m a cake artist by trade, a paper crafter, I dabble in interior decorating as well as event planning and want to add sewing to my repertoire. Originally, I only planned to make my 10 month old granddaughter’s clothes, a few table runners, placemats, curtains and such. However, after watching your videos and seeing you model your creations, you have now inspired me to make some things for myself!
One of my many favorite quotes come from the movie, ‘Field of Dreams’…”If you build it, they will come” (even the correlation between the quote and title is inspirational and creates a space for conversation?)…We’re showing up so, keep showing out ??!!! It’s evident that you’re a woman of faith so, may God continue blessing you, as you bless others, my sister in Christ
Oooooh, Marquesha! My sister in Christ and my sew sister, thank you so much for your feedback. I am so happy to have you join me and I am beyond encouraged by your beautiful message. I will keep showing up as long as there is interest. My heart is full. Thanking God for what He is doing.
